Ranger Tugs was started in 1958 based on a philosophy of quality and "doing things right," and the reputation they earned continues today. Founder Dave Livingston is probably the most accomplished boat designer in the world. Creator of thousands of models for various manufacturers, he can boast that more people have owned a boat that he built than any other designer in the world.
Ranger Tugs concentrates on one model at a time from ideation through in-house design, testing, and manufacturing. They have incorporated the ideas and experiences of insatiable users into the structure, design, and quality that owners want in a boat. Their boats are put together by some of the most experienced boatbuilders in the Northwest. With an average of 15+ years in the business, their staff works hard to ensure that when you're in a Ranger Tug boat, you'll have fun on the water!

R21 EC Performance
The Ranger R21 "EC" is a new model with an 18" extended cabin and more cruising equipment including: compact galley, improved storage, sink, stove, pressure water system and stereo. Additionally, the R21-EC has a modified displacement hull for better cruise performance and more top speed, respectively.

R25 Performance
The Ranger R25 is a semi-planing, trailerable hull with faster cruising capabilities and comfortable accommodations for up to six persons! For 2009, the standard power will come from a Cummins QSD 2.0L 130 HP electronically-controlled diesel. A Cummins QSD 2.0L 150 HP diesel is also available. Both engines are standard with the Smartcraft digital display.
